Here are Some Delicious Overnight GF Oats Recipes

 

As the days start to warm up, I love to turn my morning porridge into Overnight Oats.  I have been researching and trying different flavours over the last month. And here are some of my favourite delicious overnight GF Oats recipes that I wanted to share with you.

You can soak them in different containers as well. The mason jar ones don’t work for me that well as I find them more difficult to eat from.  I end up de-cantering them out into a bowl and that is just more washing up.

My personal favourite is the round glass container, as this doubles as a fabulous bowl. But each to their own, do what works for you.

Let us know some of your favourite combinations.

delicious overnight recipes with GF Oats

 

 

BASE RECIPE

  • 1/3 cup GF Oats
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 2 tbsp Yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup preferred Milk

 

METHOD:

Combine all ingredients together in a jar or an airtight container.  Add less or more milk according to your desired preference for consistency. Stir well until combined, cover with glad wrap or lid and refrigerate overnight.

CHOOSE YOUR FLAVOUR COMBINATION TO ADD TO THE BASE RECIPE

BANANA NUT

  • 1 tbsp of Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp of Nut Butter
  • 2 tbsp of Pecans or Walnuts
  • 1/2 Banana sliced (add the following morning)

PINA COLADA

  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 desert spn of shredded Coconut
  • 2 tbsp of Almond, slivered or sliced
  • 1/4 cup of diced Pineapple

CARROT CAKE

  • 1 small grated Carrot
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp of chopped Pecan
  • 1/4 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of Sunflower Seeds

BLUEBERRY LEMON

  • 1 tbsp Blueberry jam
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon rind
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of fresh or frozen Blueberries
