Glyphosate Statement updated May 2022

In 2018 the food industry in the USA highlighted the dangers of overuse of a chemical called Glyphosate which is the active ingredient in many herbisides and customers reached out requesting our stance and use of this chemical in our oats across our brand. We were assured by GF Harvest/GFO Inc. that they do not allow contracted growers to use Glyphosate as a drying agent in the harvest process of oats. They have their raw seed randomly tested for pesticides by third-party labs and results have always come back at “below detectable levels” or “none detected” depending on the labs reporting practices.

This practice is outlined in the GF Oats growers blueprint that we have created for domestic supply and can guarantee we have test results for the Aussie Oats show that there is nil glyphosate detected in all our oats grown and produced here in Australia in a gluten-free oat facility.

Our top priority is to provide quality oat products that meet the following standards:

  • We test below 3 ppm for gluten which equals NIL gluten found.
  • Over the last 13 years, all oats have tested nil gluten and nil glyphosate
  • GF oats are free from the top 8 allergens (Wheat, Soy, Dairy, TreeNuts, Peanuts, Fish, Shellfish, and Egg)
  • We are free from pesticide and herbicide residue across all our brand
  • Third-party certified for gluten-free, organic, non-GMO, and kosher.
  • SQF Certified (Global Food Safety Initiative Program)
  • Members of the Global Oats Protocol Group

Our farmers track their oats from the time they are planted until they are packaged. They have their own storage cleaning plant and milling operation, that has only had gluten-free oats processed in it. They also have their own packaging facility, walk all fields to inspect for gluten-containing grains and have an ongoing relationship with farmers to assure that you have the safest possible product.

We are excited to be your source for safe, gluten-free oat products.
Look for them in your local health food or IGA or purchase them safely from our online store.
