GF Oats Pizza Base

Oats Pizza Base

Make a healthy oats pizza base – looking for a healthy alternative to your pizza base – here’s a recipe using our own GF Oats. A great healthy dinner idea. Or if you are craving pizza but want to go healthy.

1/2 cup of Oat Flour (ground oats)

1 medium size cauliflower

2 eggs

½ cup of pizza cheese mix (optional)

salt/pepper and any seasons you like


Blend your cauliflower in the Food processor or Thermomix until it is like a crumble mixture.

Add to a steamer or a pot with a little water and steam until soft.

Pour into a colander and leave to drain for a minute, press as much liquid as you can out of it.

Pour into a large mixing bowl and add lightly blended eggs, cheese, oat flour and seasonings of choice.

Mix all together well then spoon portions onto a tray lined with baking paper.  Make the pizza bases to whatever size you want.  I like the individual sizes the best.

Bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes or until just browned.

Take bases out of the oven and add your preferred toppings.  Pop back into the oven for a further 10 – 20 mins and they are ready to go.
