Espresso Overnight Oats

What a way to start the day! All the nutritional benefits of oats plus a kick of coffee to leave you energised and ready to tackle anything the day brings. Mocha flavoured overnight oats recipe for coffee lovers, suitable for people who suffer from food intolerances plus it’s vegan and gluten friendly. This recipe is sure to become an all time favourite with coffee lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup GF Quick Oats
  • 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon of Cacao powder or Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 1/4 cup cold brewed Black Coffee
  • 2/3 cup coconut cream or milk 
  • 1 Tablespoon of pure Maple Syrup

Coffee Syrup

  • 1/4 cup cold brewed Black Coffee
  • 1 Tablespoon pure Maple Syrup

Method

Mix all ingredients together and cover overnight or for at least 3 hours. If you blend this mixture the texture will be smooth but this is optional. 

Pour the coffee syrup on top and top with coconut cream or coconut yoghurt.

Devour!
