There really is nothing more satisfying than making your own personal care products at times. You know they have no nasty ingredients and they just feel delicious on your skin. Try making this lovely natural oat exfoliating scrub.

Ingredients

  • Raw GF Quick Oats
  • 1 -2 tsp Honey
  • 1/4 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 drop tea tree oil

Method

  1. Take 2 – 3 teaspoons raw oats and crush into smaller bits either by hand or in a grinder.
  2. Mix the dry oats with pure honey and 1/4 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar until it forms a smooth mixture.
  3. Add more honey as needed. Then add 1 drop of tea tree oil to the mixture.

After washing the face and drying it gently by patting with a towel, apply this sticky mixture in gentle circular movements. Avoid the eye area. Leave the mixture on for about 15 minutes and wash off with lots of tepid water. Submitted by Shelayne Torta
