We are super excited to have a guest recipe submitted by Cinzia from Smoothie Bombs.

Hi, I’m Cinzia, founder of The Smoothie Bombs and a certified Nutritionist. I created these smoothie boosters because I had a fussy eating teen in my own household. She wasn’t eating breakfast or lunch going into high school and it drove me nuts. And to top that off she had some digestive problems too. So I put together some ingredients that I believed would give her some good nutrients, help her gut issues and make it tasty!

Now, 8 years on the Smoothie Bombs come in 7 flavours, are gluten-free, dairy-free, certified organic and have compostable wrappers. They are an easy way to get breakfast (or replacement meal anywhere in the day) when time is short. Tips on how to make this smoothie; Always put the fruit and grain in first (closest to the blade) then add milk and finally crumble the Bomb in on top. Blend for 1 minute. This will ensure a well-blended consistency.
