With just five ingredients, these chocolatey protein bites are the perfect pick me up. Who doesn’t love a light & sweet snack that’s better for you!? 🤤
INGREDIENTS:
- 100g smooth salted almond butter
- 70ml sugar free maple syrup
- 80g chocolate protein powder
- 20g GF Traditional Oats
- Topped with 40g melted carob buttons & some sprinkles!
METHOD:
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine your oats, protein powder, maple syrup and almond butter. Stir well until smooth.
- Roll the mixture into 10 even sized balls. You may need to wet your hands to aid rolling as the mixture can be quite sticky.
- Pop the balls into a lined container and place in the freezer while you melt down your carob.
- Melt your carob in the microwave (for 30 second intervals) or in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Grab the choc balls back out of the freezer and evenly dollop your melted carob across them all. Add some sprinkles then place back in the freezer for 1-2 hours. Enjoy!
