Chocolatey Protein Bites Recipe

With just five ingredients, these chocolatey protein bites are the perfect pick me up. Who doesn’t love a light & sweet snack that’s better for you!? 🤤
 
 
INGREDIENTS:
  • 100g smooth salted almond butter
  • 70ml sugar free maple syrup
  • 80g chocolate protein powder
  • 20g GF Traditional Oats
  • Topped with 40g melted carob buttons & some sprinkles!
 
METHOD:
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine your oats, protein powder, maple syrup and almond butter. Stir well until smooth.
  2. Roll the mixture into 10 even sized balls. You may need to wet your hands to aid rolling as the mixture can be quite sticky.
  3. Pop the balls into a lined container and place in the freezer while you melt down your carob.
  4. Melt your carob in the microwave (for 30 second intervals) or in a small saucepan over low heat.
  5. Grab the choc balls back out of the freezer and evenly dollop your melted carob across them all. Add some sprinkles then place back in the freezer for 1-2 hours. Enjoy!
