Chocolate Baked Oats using Gf Oats

Choccy Baked Oats 🤎 the kids will love it, your spouse will love it... or perhaps you'll sneak away to enjoy this rich, protein packed recipe for yourself!

Using my go-to Aussie oats brand GF Oats organic, free from glyphosate and the gluten contamination found in wheat, rye and barley. A brand you can trust, we just love them!!

Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups GF Oats
  • 3.5 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dairy free choc chips

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°c and line a suitable dish with baking paper (i've used a slice tray).
  2. In a medium bowl add oats, cocoa & baking powder. Next, add coconut oil, milk, eggs, honey and vanilla, mix until well combined.
  3. Add 3/4 of a cup of choc chips, fold through until combined.
  4. Pour oat mixture into prepared tray/dish and sprinkle remaining choc chips across the top.
  5. Bake for 30- 35min until the center is set, allow to cool before serving.
  6. Slice and enjoy!!
