Choc Anzac Slice – A delicious twist on the classic Anzac biscuit! This rich and chewy slice combines the golden oat, coconut, and delicious flavors of traditional ANZAC biscuits with a decadent layer of chocolate. Perfect for an afternoon treat or a nostalgic dessert with a modern touch.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 packet of GF Oats ANZAC biscuits (crushed) or GF Oats ANZAC biscuit crumble
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/3 cup almond meal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup GF Oats honey
Chocolate: - 1/4 cup hazelnut spread
- 1 tbs cacao powder
- 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/3 cup almond meal
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 180C, line rectangle baking dish
- In a large bowl, mix together the ANZAC mixture until sticky and combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix together chocolate ingredients until creamy.
- Press down half of the ANZAC mixture into your prepared dish.
- Pour over chocolate mixture.
- Crumble remaining ANZAC mixture over the top of the chocolate.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden on top.
- Drizzle with dark chocolate once cooled and enjoy! 🫶
