Savory Overnight Oats Recipe

You've tried sweet, but have you ever tried a savoury overnight oat? This recipe is super easy to make on busy morning, and will have you drooling over the pan as you fry up the spices. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tblspn GF Oats Traditional Oats
  • 2 Tblspn Plain Yoghurt
  • 2 Tblspn Grated Carrot
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • 1 Tblspn Oil
  • Pinch of Mustard Seeds
  • 2 - 3 Curry Leaves
  • 2 Tblspn Peanuts
  • Chilli Powder to taste

Instructions:

    1. Prepare the overnight oats by adding oats, yoghurt, carrot, salt & pepper to a container. Mix well, cover and store in the fridge overnight.

    2. On a small frying pan, heat oil.

    3. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves and lightly fry.
    4. Next add Peanuts and Chilli Powder and lightly fry until golden.
    5. Remove the mix from pan and add to a bowl or serving dish, and combine with the overnight oats.
    6. Mix well & Enjoy.
